Leslie - (external link)  Hi all!  My name is Leslie.  I've been painting for about 8 years.  I started while recovering from a back injury.  Painting helped me through some difficult times.  Even though I never took any professional or school type classes or lessons on art, I have had lessons from my Aunt Hildy who has been painting for 20 years or so.

Nelle V- (external link) Hhmmm... who I am and what I do are sometimes two respective matters, and so my ambition in life has always been that of merging these two idealistic
goals... completely. So, I've been at photography since 1995. And since I
grew up alongside the ZX Spectrum and Amiga 500, exposure to the PC world
was inevitable, with both website and graphic design being a naturalistic
next step. This is what my website is all about, but not all me. Other than
this I attended Film School and have been exposed to the inside walls of two
independent Editing Studios and a Music Room. For now, I am freelancing!

I first discovered chain maille when I attended a Renaissance Festival in Holly, Michigan.  I loved it, I loved the look of it, the feel of it, and the uniqueness of it.  I wanted to drape myself in nothing but loads of chain maille and prance down the street, but since I couldn't do that without going to jail for indecent exposure, I decided to learn how to make the chain maille jewelry myself.  I started searching the net and reading books and studying other pieces.
